Volunteers are the heartbeat and the driving force behind everything we do at the Alzheimer’s Association. Not only do they help us put on impactful community events and provide local community resources, they inspire us to keep fighting for a cure every day.

Volunteering is a powerful way to contribute to your community and make a positive impact on the lives of others. In Alaska, volunteers are stepping up to the plate to support individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Their dedication and passion for the cause are truly inspiring, and during this National Volunteer Week (April 21 – 27), we look forward to celebrating our volunteers and their commitment to making a difference.

Community Outreach

Another vital role in the fight against Alzheimer’s is that of community outreach volunteers.
